How to create a new client

Creating a new client in TaxPlanIQ

 

Use your custom Login to access TaxPlanIQ.  Our team at Support@taxplaniq.com emailed you with this information, and if you have not received the email, please contact them ASAP. 

Navigate to the client tab on the left, then to  + Create a new client on the top right. 

Enter their first and last name, and you can enter their enable.  

*Your client will only be contacted by email if you enable (select) the client portal or send them a questionnaire.* Please do not use an email address that has been used somewhere else. 

Enter the Client's status

Enter any Labels like "Real Estate Professional" or their personality types. 

Then, add any related parties or any existing or potential businesses or individuals that may be a part of this tax plan.  Example: A rental property on a Schedule E, or if they have an S Corp or any children that are part of the tax plan.

3rd Parties is for Cash Flow purposes (it can be filled out now or later). Ex:  Fidelity labeled other.  

Then click Create. 

You can locate this client on the Client list screen.
