Phase II/Annual Strategy Meeting/TaxPlanIQ Events for Support
Let's say that we've secured a client, we've implemented their plan. We've actually prepared their current year tax return. And now I want to revisit with the client the next phase of their planning or do an annual strategy meeting.
So I would come back into my client. I would choose that plan. I could duplicate this plan. I can rename it and or we'll just go into the one at hand and I want to check off the actual box because I'm going to fill in what really happened from the tax return.
So let's say that we predicted we were going to do $5,000 towards an accountable plan each year. It's actually $5,430. You would have your preparer fill this information in and then you can go to your return on investment page, check the actual box and show the client what you estimated to happen and what really happened. And hopefully your ROI actually went up, which tends to be the case a lot of times.
This is a great time to revisit fees or add new strategies for phase two of the plan. You could add those strategies here or again, you know, you could duplicate this plan, go back to your main client screen, duplicate and then go on to phase two from there.
